NOTES: All the other unlisted works of the three writing “identities” can fit the gutters between the main chapters. On various degrees. Many of the other “Identities” (Keats, Rimbaud, DaVinci, D’arc, John and the rest of the names) and those respective works (all Legend) can be placed right inside the sidereal legend, after Chapter 0, on various degrees - last of the list shall be Keats and the London Phase and the Rimbaud/French corpus of works from the Paris days. Then Legend, and the main 21 books. Between the “Abomination in spaces” part of the overall opera, we could surely fit all those works still signed under the Kerouac name, yes, but that preceeded somehow the first apparition of the Jack Duluoz character in Legend. “Abomination in spaces” works a bit as a “World Building” introduction to the whole “Fall Of America” then “Fall Of The Planet” saga - it is the part where we see the world where such heinous things are gonna take place, the families in it, the overall feeling of anxiety and absence of religion, the suicide of a nation, and of the united nations as a whole later (in the latter and present-time part Abomination in time). Kali yuga. “Abomination in spaces” is the choir, it has many protagonists, and the writer’s voice is divided in many fragments - whereas the Abomination in time part presents the same fragmentation but under a time perspective, rather than a spatial one.
All the works that preceeded the Road phase of composition (chronologically speaking) will mostly fit those “Abomination in spaces” gutters - Town and the City especially, and all those works that help the world building part of Legend, by showing all the many families, souls, adventurers travelling in it, before the introduction of the main characters during the “Fall of America” part. All of the shorter works signed under the Jerome D. (that originally stood for Duluoz, if some of y’all don’t know, at least for Jerome’s and my plans when we both were in our twenties) Salinger name, appeared in America on various magazines mostly unpublished round the world, will go there too. The other works signed as “Jack”, poetry included, should fill the spaces between the “Chapters” of the Fall books - plays included, diaries etc too. Also the movies. The characters names of the books of Fall, or wherever else those characters may be named, should be kept as “Kerouac”, “Ginsberg”, “Neal”, “Diane” etc (not on titles, though) rather than those “Duluoz”, “Goldbook”, “Cody”, “Billie” the publishers (and some of the real life protagonists over there depicted) imposed me - during this new age it should be easier to make this whole thing work. Or as long as they are all unified (no more Dean/Cody depending on Chapters, but Dean and that’s it), then it should be ok. Wherever Cassady won’t work, I’d use a Dean Moriarty (as it was the first choice, then considered unusable in other books: but it had a reason to be). If Dean still won’t work, let’s go again with Cody. I got the feeling this censorship will never end anyways, as I’m writing this, so to make everybody happy, let’s just use all the names we used if that causes too much troubles, without worrying too much - knowing that Dean, Neal or Shariputra in the end were always the same guy, in LEGEND.
